UPDATE (7/5/20)
We are moving back to TWO services starting this coming Sunday, July 12. Services will be at 9:00 and 11:00 and there will only be nursery/kids (preschool) at the 11:00 service. If you have children, please plan to attend the 11:00 service. We also have a family room in the NE corner of the gym where you can watch the service with your children. Please share this news with your friends and family and let us know if you have any questions. Email office@macmissoula.com or call the church office at 406-251-3983.
WORSHIP SERVICE UPDATE (7/1/20)
We will continue with ONE service at 10:00a on 7/5 but are considering a return to TWO services starting 7/12. Stay updated to this page for more information. Watch the video from Pastor Micah below where he explains the original rationale for one service, need for adjustments, and how we can love each other well during this season. More information is provided below the video.
In light of higher-than-expected attendance on 6/28/20, we’re continuing with our 10:00a service on 7/5/20 (due to the Holiday weekend and lower attendance) but then evaluating the possibility of going back to 2 services starting on 7/12/20. Please stay tuned for updates.
For this Sunday, masks will be provided for those who are more comfortable wearing one, as well as sanitizer and other precautions. We recognize that we can’t meet everyone’s expectations but our goal is to accommodate for as many people as possible to attend our worship service.
As a reminder, you can always watch online at macmissoula.com/live. We will be re-evaluating our decisions regularly, especially in light of recommendations/requirements from the CDC and our health department.
If you have questions about this, you can email office@macmissoula.com (preferred) or call 406-251-3983.
April 30 Update
MAC in-person service update
Following Governor Bullock's announcement officially moving into Phase II of reopening Montana, we continue to work through details of getting back together and communicate it well with the church.
After meeting as a staff, governing board, and calling the Missoula County Health Department to clarify the revised requirements, we've decided to modify our worship service gatherings. More details will follow, but services will continue to be at 9 and 11 a.m, until we move to one service at 10am on June 28th. There's no pressure to return in person if you prefer to continue watching online at macmissoula.com/live.
Much prayer and consideration has gone into these decisions, and to learn more about the decisions, check out the video message from Pastor Micah on how we treat each other during this time, especially in light of competing values. If you have questions, email office@macmissoula.com (preferred) or call 406-251-3983.
