Our Story
Since 1957, Missoula Alliance Church has welcomed generations to know Jesus and experience life change. Through different buildings, addition of staff, and changes in Missoula culture, Missoula Alliance Church has always been a church that embraces our community to show them the love of Jesus.
MAC is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Founded by Albert Benjamin Simpson (1843–1919) in 1887, the C&MA had a deep burden for reaching the lost—both at home and around the world. While AB Simpson was pastoring a large church in New York City in the late 1800s, he was moved by the spiritual and physical needs of immigrants, the poor, and those far from Christ.
The C&MA remains a movement committed to deeper life in Christ and taking the good news to every corner of the globe under Simpson’s mission: “All of Jesus for All the World.” To learn more about what we believe, click the logo below.
