Jeff Valentine - Lead Pastor

Jeff is the Lead Pastor at MAC.  He loves to see people transformed by Jesus and God made famous in their eyes.  Seeing MAC make God look as great as He actually is in this community and beyond is his dream . . . a dream that is becoming a reality.  Jeff was raised in a pastor’s home and attended Crown College (BA in Bible and Theology) and Wheaton Graduate School (MA in Educational Ministries).  Prior to MAC he served on staff at an Alliance church in Pittsburgh, PA and the Church Planter/Lead Pastor of an Alliance church in Red Deer, Alberta Canada.  Jeff came to MAC in 1994.  His hobbies are woodworking, wooden boat building (the kind you sit in . . . and it doesn’t sink), water sports, and following football and basketball.  Jeff is happily married to MerriLee and has three girls, Jerilyn, Victoria, and Olivia.

Dan Nagel - Associate Lead Pastor

Dan gives leadership to our Staff, Life Groups and Volunteer-led ministries in the church.  It really fuels Dan to see people’s passions aligned with God’s purposes.  Until the age of nine, Dan lived in Ethiopia, where his parents were missionaries.  He spent the remainder of this childhood in Hamilton, Illinois, on the Mississippi River.  He then attended Wheaton College (BA, Biblical Studies, 1988) and Wheaton College Graduate School (MA, Educational Ministries, 1992).  He came to MAC in July of 2009 from Bozeman, MT where he was Senior Pastor at Alliance Fellowship.  Prior to that he was an Associate Pastor in Beloit, KS.  When he is not working, Dan enjoys outdoor sports in the mountains-–running, biking, hiking, skiing--preferably with his wife, boys and dog!  He has been happily married to Kelly since 1989 (you do the math) and has two “red-headed preachers’ kids,” Ryan and Jackson.

Micah Dalbey - Worship Pastor

Micah oversees the worship ministry at MAC. He has a passion to represent Christ as He is and to lead people into His life-giving light.  Micah was born and raised in Bozeman.  He attended Montana State University (BA in Music Education) and the University of Montana (MA in Music Education). He is married to Larisa and has two boys - Aaron and Kenan (a third one is on the way). Before coming to MAC, Micah was assistant pastor and worship director at Discovery Alliance Church for 6 years.  Micah loves reading, playing guitar, writing music, hiking, riding bikes with his family, the changing seasons ,and just about anything involving the outdoors.

Brian Wiggins - High School Youth Pastor

Brian oversees the high school youth ministry at MAC. He has been on staff since 2007 and lives to see this generation grow up in the Lord and discover what it means to “know Christ.”  He believes that this generation has the potential to literally change the world for Christ.  In a ministry home, Brian grew up in a number of places (Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, and Colorado).  He attended Crown College (BA in History) and Denver Seminary (MA in Biblical Studies).  Before coming to MAC, Brian was a youth pastor in Belgrade, MT and worked at the C&MA National Office (doing all kinds of things to work his way through seminary…archives, maintenance, and video editing).  He is married to Rachelle and has three kids (Kezia, Shaelie, and Jayce).  Brian enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, having people over, working on cars, reading, video editing, giving Robbie a hard time, and mastering yodeling.

Robbie Severson - Middle School Youth Pastor

Robbie has been at MAC since 2004 as the Middle School guy. He loves middle schoolers and being able to create a place where they are loved and accepted. His passion is to help them know about Christ's love during the important middle school years.  Robbie grew up in Freemont, NE, attended Crown College (BS in Youth Ministry) and came on staff at MAC in 2004.  Robbie is happily married to Julianne and has two kids (Micah and Carson).  When he is not hanging out with middle schoolers you will find Robbie spending time with his family, playing hockey, cheering on the Nebraska football, looking good, cage fighting, and honing his nunchuck skills.

Lara Wildboer - Children's Ministry Director

Lara (note: not Laura) oversees MAC’s children’s ministries.  The best part of her job is watching kids discover at such young ages that God loves them and how they can serve Him.  An added bonus is that is that she also gets to do so many fun things with kids and still call it work.  Lara grew up in Lynden, WA and later attended Calvin College (BA in Social Work).  It was there she realized she wanted to spend her life helping people.  When she and her husband Clarence moved to Missoula in 2003 they started attending MAC.  For a number of years she helped in the nursery, Plugged In, Summer Adventure Week, and other children’s ministries.  In 2008 she came on staff and has been working with kids ever since.  Lara is also the mom of four boys (Nathan, Bryce, Adam, and Brent) that keep her busy.  Together they raise chickens and love to play hockey on a homemade ice rink in their yard.  She also enjoys travel, biking, watching/playing hockey, and playing piano.

Kathy Wornath - Adult and Children Outreach Director

Kathy (along with her sister Nell) oversees a variety of outreach and service ministries to children and adults.  She loves the people she works with, both on staff and those who volunteer, and the children she serves.  She has always enjoyed serving in church ministry and counts it a blessing to do so.  Kathy began at MAC serving as a Children’s Ministry Director (along with Nell) in 2002.  Kathy lived in WI and MS, but was primarily raised in Missoula.  She earned an associates in accounting from the University of Montana COT.  She is happily married to Mike and they have two married children and two grandchildren.  (She is a proud grandma…ask to see pictures.)  You will find Kathy spending time with her family, reading, traveling, playing games, and cooking.

Nell German - Outreach Director

Nell (along with Kathy) is involved in overseeing a variety of outreach efforts to both adults and children (AWANA and Summer Adventure Week).  She started at MAC in 2001 and was originally the Children’s Ministry Director.  Nell loves the people she ministers to and along with.  She thrives off of planning events, organizing ministries and watching God bring it all together.  She spent much of her childhood in Missoula and attended the University of Montana (Elementary Education).  In her mid-twenties she moved to Port Angeles, WA to teach, where she also met her husband Tim.  They have an adult daughter, Christine.  Nell loves spending time with family and friends at Flathead Lake.  One of her favorite Bible passages is Isaiah 55:6-13.

Bonnie Powell - Administrative Assistant

Bonnie serves as the receptionist and administrative assistant to the staff.  She loves getting to meet and greet people when they first come in our office and does a great job of lightening the load of our staff.  She grew up right here in Missoula where she attended Lewis and Clark Elementary School and graduated from Sentinel High School.  She went off to Baptist Bible College (now Faith Baptist Bible College) in Denver, CO and earned a BA in Elementary Education.  She started at MAC in 2010. Bonnie enjoys bicycling, camping, swimming, counted cross-stitch and reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.  She has three grown children, Melissa, Benjamin, and Shelisa as well as 4 grandchildren whom she adores!
